We are very pleased to introduce you to our new colleague Erik Janzon, who joined the Stockholm Kjeller Vindteknikk team in February!
Erik finished his PhD in Meteorology at Uppsala University in Uppsala earlier this year, where he looked at how the representation of forests in weather prediction models influence icing predictions. Prior to his doctoral education, Erik worked as a weather forecaster for energy companies in the United States.
What brought you to Kjeller Vindteknikk?
“I had learned of Kjeller Vindteknikk’s reputation for an expanding range of state-of-the-art products in support of various industries operating in cold climate regions. I wanted to learn from the team here and provide my own expertise from my background in meteorology.”
What are your expectations towards working at Kjeller Vindteknikk?
“I look forward to assisting the team at Kjeller Vindteknikk and Norconsult as they develop exciting new products in contribution to the renewable energy transition!”
