EYA – Energy Yield Assessment
Our energy yield estimates combine our extensive track record of energy yield assessments for wind farms, with Norconsult’s competence in modelling and simulation of solar PV plants.
Our Bankable EYA methodology includes the following steps:
- Climate Analysis – Measurement campaigns and analysis are performed in compliance with best industry practice and relevant standards.
- PV plant layout adheres to site and grid constraints; design choices are project specific and follow best practice and client preferences.
- Energy production is simulated in PVsyst using site-, equipment- and project specific parameter values.
- Post-Processing and Uncertainty Analysis. Net P50, P75 and P90 AEP will be delivered.
The calculations can be performed for a range of layout, equipment and locations type scenarios, if needed. A range of additional tasks can be ordered, such as layout optimization, financial calculations and special loss assessments.
The results are presented in a report subject to a comprehensive quality control according to our quality assessment system. The report may be written in Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish or English.
