Mini-grids are reliable and cost-effective ways to give electricity access to rural communities. Malawi (2023) and Lesotho (2022) are two examples where Norconsult have supported authorities with the development of mini-grids for over 10 communities. Our scope of work covering site identifications and evaluations, electricity needs assessment, technical design,financial and economic analysis, financing strategy and structuring, ESIAs, tender support and capacity building.
