Norconsult played a crucial role in supporting the consortium’s successful bid efforts by providing technical advisory services and shaping the business case and project concept. Utilizing our Power-to-X optimizing framework, Norconsult designed the hydrogen and ammonia plant and was responsible for the technical section of the consortium’s bid book. For three different sites, Norconsult developed technical concepts for hybrid solar PV plants and wind farms in the 5 GWprange to power electrolyzers, each with the potential to produce up to 200,000 tons of green hydrogen annually.
