Furuseth was the first solar PV plant to obtain a license under the permitting scheme for solar power in Norway that was introduced in 2021. Norconsult supported Solgrid with multiple services for the Furuseth project, including climate analysis, technical concept, layout, energy yield assessments, environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA), flood risk and surface runoff assessments, and more.
