Fred Olsen have built on their vast offshore engineering experience to develop BRIZO, a floating PV (FPV) concept designed for simplicity, cost-efficiency and robustness. The concept allows PV modules to move freely and independentlywithin a pre-tensioned rope mesh that uses well-known fabrication methods and off-the-shelf components to allow for flexibility in sourcing and local content maximization. The first pilot was installed in Norway in 2023 as seen in the photo.
