We are very pleased to introduce you to our new Managing Director for Kjeller Vindteknikk AB, Kjeller Vindteknikk’s company in Sweden. Andreas Johansson started 1st of November.

Andreas brings a background from various leading wind power related roles during his 10-year journey at Vestas Wind Systems. For the later part he headed up the technical sales and siting function for northern and western Europe, including business development areas in southern and eastern Africa. Before that he also headed the product development program for the V164 offshore platform from early conceptual studies throughout later industrialization and mark upgrades. For the last 3 years, Andreas has been with the Volvo Group in leading roles connected to the transition towards electromobility and fuel cell powered vehicles, including developing testing facilities for these increasingly important technologies. Andreas has a MSc in mechanical engineering as well as business degree in financial management.

 

What brought you to Kjeller Vindteknikk?

“Kjeller Vindteknikk has a very good reputation as a science-based service provider to the wind energy business in the Nordics. The demand for renewable energy will continue to rapidly increase in the coming years and I can see Kjeller Vindteknikk being an important enabler for this growth to take place in a safe and structured manner.”

 

What are your expectations towards working at Kjeller Vindteknikk?

“I have already had the chance to meet the many great colleagues we have and got a fantastic welcoming into the Kjeller-team. There’s a great amount of expertise within this organization which will keep innovating and improving the services we can provide. While wind energy is at the heart of what we do at Kjeller Vindteknikk AB, I am also looking forward to learn more about the applied metrological services we successfully provide to our customers for other infrastructure establishments around the world”
