We are very pleased to introduce you to our two new colleagues, Bendik and Mina Elise, who have joined the Kjeller Vindteknikk team in early August.

Bendik finished his master in Energy and Environment at NTNU in Trondheim earlier this year, where he looked at the effect of atmospheric stability on wake dynamics using CFD. Mina Elise has a MSc in Environmental physics and renewable energy. In her thesis, she studied the albedo effect and bifacial solar panels and modelled the process with COMSOL Multiphysics. She has experience with research within solar energy.

They are both part of the Norwegian analysis team located at the Lillestrøm office.

What brought you to Kjeller Vindteknikk?

“I felt homesick after spending two years in Trondheim, so returning to Østlandet (eastern Norway) felt like the right move. Growing up in Romerike, near Lillestrøm, gives me a connection to this region. However, it’s not just the favorable location that drew me here; the expertise of the employees at Kjeller Vindteknikk was equally compelling. I am thrilled by the chance to collaborate with the top professionals in the Nordic region specializing in wind power, making this opportunity truly exciting for me.”, says Mina Elise.

“I think that Kjeller Vindteknikk is unique in terms of its meteorological and aerodynamic expertise in wind energy engineering, which is strengthened by the turbine competence of Norconsult. KVT therefore gets a lot of super exciting projects and is the place to be to develop an expertise in wind energy engineering.”, says Bendik.

What are your expectations towards working at Kjeller Vindteknikk?

“I expect to contribute to finding new and innovative solutions to challenges for our customers, and to learn a lot from the extensive experience of my new colleagues.”, says Bendik.

“I look forward to working with my new colleagues and expect to acquire in-depth knowledge and advance my skills within renewable energy by learning from them. While I’ve previously focused on solar power, entering the field of wind power presents an exciting learning curve. Engaging with renewable energy fuels my motivation and being a part of Kjeller Vindteknikk will hopefully result in growth and opportunities.”, says Mina Elise.

With such motivated and engaged new employees, there is no doubt that the rest of the team at KVT is looking forward to their contributions.

Welcome to the team Mina Elise and Bendik!
