We are very pleased to introduce you to our new colleagues Marte Sofie Buraas and Eivind Myklebust Støvne, who joined the Kjeller Vindteknikk team this autumn!

Marte Sofie finished her MSc in Meteorology and Oceanography from University of Oslo earlier this year, where she looked at how sea ice influence Arctic warming. Eivind also finished his MSc earlier this year, in Sustainable Energy Engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. He performed an energy system analysis of a future industrial park development, with the ambition of optimizing the on-site production of renewable energy.

Both Marte Sofie and Eivind is part of the Norwegian analysis team located at the Lillestrøm office.

What brought you to Kjeller Vindteknikk?

“After finishing my university degree, I knew that I wanted to use my knowledge of meteorology and climate to contribute to the renewable energy transition. I had heard a lot of great things about Kjeller Vindteknikk and Norconsult, and found your vision to be a good fit for my career aspirations”, Marte Sofie says.

“I wanted to work with wind energy, to learn from highly competent co-workers and to have a lot of variation in my tasks. When I learnt about Kjeller Vindteknikk, I realized that all of this was possible as a part of this teamsays Eivind.

What are your expectations towards working at Kjeller Vindteknikk?

“I am looking forward to working with wind energy on different projects and learning more about the wind industry from experienced colleagues”, says Marte Sofie.

“I look forward to learning a lot of new things and gaining insight on different aspects of wind energy engineering, as well as contributing to the acceleration of the renewable energy industry”, answers Eivind.

Welcome to the team Marte Sofie and Eivind!
