We are very pleased to introduce you to our new colleague Idar Barstad who joined the Kjeller Vindteknikk team this autumn!
Idar has a PhD in dynamic numerical meteorology from University of Bergen from 2002, and he has long experience both as a scientist and an independent consultant. He lives, of course, in Barstadvik in Ørsta, and will be working remotely from there.
What brought you to Kjeller Vindteknikk?
“I was looking for a job with challenges within my area of expertise; meteorology.” Idar says.
What are your expectations towards working at Kjeller Vindteknikk?
“I like building and creating stuff. Bridges and wind farms seem like application areas I hope I can contribute to and to create new stuff even further within Kjeller. Here seems to be a lot of qualified people, so I’m looking forward to work with you all.” Answers Idar.
